At a<br>time when faculty and staff voices are<br>more crucial than ever, I invite you to<br>luxuriate in these pages. You will find<br>tender, moving, somber, and uplifting<br>55-word stories from poets and authors<br>who are researchers, clinicians, and<br>educators. These stories speak to all of<br>us within and beyond our academic<br>and professional identities. Whether<br>you read one a day, devour the entire<br>copy in one sitting, or return to the<br>issue over and over, the size is small<br>enough to carry with you.
