Transitioning from nights to days
Again, this week.
A foggy mind caring for
patients with heavy trauma
I gather patient vitals
I prepare my presentation
And wait my turn to shine
….But I don’t.
An annoyed attending skewers my plan
And asks that I do better
Now it’s not only the patients who’ve undergone trauma
