Rubor projects: “Voices from the...” is a collection of 55-word stories written by medical students, residents, faculty and staff associated with the University of Utah School of Medicine and the University of Utah Health. These stories transcend specific writing genres, employing aspects of both poetry and prose to craft brief, poignant vignettes of experiences as those experienced by the individuals in their daily interaction. The purpose of the collection is to transmit emotional knowledge confronted by those working in the health profession. Thus, the booklets are specifically designed to fit in white coat or scrub pockets, to serve as a reference when emotionally strained, or as a touchstone for recalling our own initial forays into the clinical world of medicine.

The collections are divided into the following perspectives:

Voices from the Wards, print only
Voices from the Residents, web and print
Voices from the Faculty to come
