He is Palestinian. The past several months have been the most difficult of his life. He is not allowed to go back to parts of his homeland due to the apartheid system in place. The parts that he is allowed into, he faces harassment and humiliation by the Israeli military. He has family overseas fearing for their lives or their children's lives. He has largely been dealing with this trauma alone while still being expected to perform his duties as a resident. He would like to have his voice shared so readers can have a basic understanding of the pain Palestinians all over have been feeling.
