On behalf of the editorial board, I
welcome you to our 2026 Issue of
Voices from Faculty and Staff. At a
time when faculty and staff voices are
more crucial than ever, I invite you to
luxuriate in these pages. You will find
tender, moving, somber, and uplifting
55-word stories from poets and authors
who are researchers, clinicians, and
educators. These stories speak to all of
us within and beyond our academic
and professional identities. Whether
you read one a day, devour the entire
copy in one sitting, or return to the
issue over and over, the size is small
enough to carry with you. We hope this
issue reminds you of the belonging we
find in the truth and vulnerability of our
faculty and staffs’ artistic expressions,
