Welcome to Rubor, a medical humanities journal at the University of Utah School of Medicine. This literary and arts publication is run by medical students, and submission is open to all. We are grateful to the University of Utah School of Medicine Program in Medical Ethics and Humanities, the School of Medicine Office of Admissions, and the Associated Students of the University of Utah for providing financial support for this publication, as well as the University of Utah Eccles Health Sciences Library for their digital and technologic assistance.
Rubor is an instrument of humanism and a creative forum for the humanities at the University of Utah School of Medicine. On behalf of readers and contributors in Salt Lake City, the greater Utah community, and beyond, Rubor seeks to provide a sense of community, belongingness, and expression of humanity, in the context of health and medicine, through its print journal and digital site.
