Diabetic

As a young adult living with Type 1 diabetes, I have heard more misconceptions about diabetes than I care to remember.

Bio: Margot Porter is a member of the University of Utah School of Medicine class of 2023. She lives with Type 1 diabetes, as do three other members of her immediate family. She loves being active in the diabetes community and is especially passionate about awareness and advocacy. Other passions include time with loved ones, graphic design, and ketchup.
