Bio: Pam's first job as a registered nurse was over 30 years ago on a pediatric oncology floor in Seattle, Washington. Last year she came full circle by becoming a patient, diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. In between, she raised four children, earned a degree in writing, and spent her free time (what little there was with four children!) jogging trails near her home, reading good books and traveling to national parks.
