MARRIOT LIBRARY COVID-19 DIGITAL COLLECTION

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Marriott Library launched the Utah COVID-19 Digital Collection (https://collections.lib.utah.edu/search?facet_setname_s=uum_uc19) in order to capture history as it happens. The collection has over 700 items contributed by Utahns from across the state, including photos and reflections from the University community. The collection documents the impacts of social distancing measures on daily life and other aspects of COVID-19, with submissions starting in March 2020. In addition, a partnership with the University Hospital and Dr. Gretchen Case has allowed us to add oral histories from doctors currently treating COVID-19, https://collections.lib.utah.edu/search?facet_keywords_t=%22University+Hospital%22&facet_setname_s=uum_uc19.

Members of the Rubor community are invited to submit photos of their art and their written work to the collection! By submitting materials to the collection you are giving the library and University permission to publish, but you retain your copyright to your materials. If you have a piece that relates to COVID-19 that you would like to contribute, you can submit it here: https://lib.utah.edu/services/digital-library/COVID19_digitalcollection

If you have any questions about the COVID-19 Digital Collection, please feel free to contact the librarians on the project team: Anna Neatrour (anna.neatrour@utah.edu), Rachel Wittmann (rachel.wittmann@utah.edu), or Jeremy Myntti (jeremy.myntti@utah.edu).
